This album was written during a period of grieving over the death of a close friend. The themes of God's faithfulness and the peace to be found in Jesus are the result. Musically, the album builds on Chuck's previous release "Beyond the Veil," and sees a return to earthier, warmer sounds with folk, rock, soul, Gospel, and even country influences shining through.
